...all beauty in animals and plants is a silent and enduring form of love and longing…
The earth is full of this secret down to her smallest things.

With all of this beauty

I open my eyes around me
To amazing lights.
Shapes and shades all moving
Within my sight.
Into my eyes they wander
In a delicate dance.
Noticed or not, they enter,
Offering me this chance.
And with all of this beauty,
If I fail to notice,
If somehow I fail to see.
Oh, what a waste of me!
Beauty like rain is falling,
Some say "it's only skin deep".
The surface is damp with beauty,
But to the heart it seeps.
Beauty is surrounding,
It's calling me, it's asking me,
It's begging me to be...
If somehow I fail to see.
Oh, what a waste of me!
I open my heart within me,
And love pours in.
Catching, creating beauty,
The heart begins.
