The great person is sparing in words but prodigal in deeds.

The Builder

When I was a young boy, about twelve years old,
I didn't always do what I was told, no!
We took a journey for a couple of days,
But I chose to hang around, I decided to stay.
I tried explaining, mama didn't understand
That I had to hang around, to look at the plans
'Cause I'm the builder, oh yeah,
I'm the builder, I'm building the Kingdom,
I'm the builder.
I started showing some people my plans,
And they decided that they'd lend me a hand,
I needed everyone that I could find
So I gave legs to the lame, and sight to the blind.
People came from all around to be fulfilled,
I said "don't just stand around, come and help me build"
'Cause I'm the builder, oh yeah,
I'm the builder, I'm building the Kingdom,
I'm the builder.
The things that I build with my hands, well they might fall apart,
But never the things that I build with my heart, I'm the builder.
Some folks reckoned that my plan was a lie,
So they decided it was best that I die,
Now I've hammered my thumb I know how that feels,
But they drove the nails through my wrists and my heels.
That day they taught me a lesson on pain,
But I promised them all I'd be back again.
'Cause I'm the builder, oh yeah,
I'm the builder, I'm building the Kingdom,
I'm the builder.
The things that I build with my hands, well they might fall apart,
But never the things that I build with my heart, I'm the builder.
