There's a whisper, and it's going round
My feet can feel it underground
There's a whisper
It makes little dogs tilt their heads
trying to figure out what's being said
There's a whisper.
So take a deep breath, take it in
Take a deep breath, let's begin:
We are surrounded by the sound
We are embraced by creation
Let's listen so well that we learn it by heart
'Cos the world needs participation.
There's a giggle, and a baby winks
She's got a secret, she'd like to think
This joy inside starts to shake
Now it's cracking up like an earthuake.
There is weeping unguarded pain
These tears just hurt, no need to feign,
There is weeping
It's scary when pain's revealed
BUt if love gets in love can heal
There is weeping
There is anger at what's unfair
Only anger, 'til it turns to care
There is anger
There is laughter, and crying too,
When you just don't know what to do
There is laughter.
